Gabriele Koch, b 1948 Germany. A large vessel, signed and dated 1985. Burnished and smoke fired to produce a smooth, stained outer surface in earthy pink and greys. Koch’s work is collected by museums worldwide including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Ashmoleon museum in Oxford.
