Hugo Scheiber, Hungarian (1873 - 1950)
From 1910 onward Scheiber showed anincreasing interest in German Expressionism and Futurism. He moved to Berlin in 1922, and painted cabaret and dancing scenes as he became influenced by the Art Deco movement when this work was no doubt completed. His work gained in popularity appearing in magazines and. was exhibited in London, Rome, La Paz, and New York.
