Sir Robert Vere Darwin CBE RA (1910–1974) British, President of the Royal Society of Painters in Watercolours, and Rector of the Royal College of Art. Darwins work resides in the Government Art Collection , in the Royal Academy and institutions worldwide. Appointed as head of the Royal College, where he stayed from 1948 - 71.
